What's In This Guide?

Looking for some extra cash to tide you over? We’ve all been there. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably decided that surveys are the best way forward, and they certainly have their perks.

But not all survey sites were made equal, so it’s best not to jump straight in with the first site you come across. My hope is that after reading this you can make an informed decision about whether Fusion Cash is right for you.

What Is “Fusion Cash”?

Fusion Cash.net is a get-paid-to site, or gpt site, which means you can earn money by taking part in a range of activities. Naturally, this includes surveys — but you can also do lots of other things, like completing cashback offers and clicking on links.

Although the site tends to fall under the radar, it’s actually been around since 2005. So far, Fusion Cash have so far paid out $3 million.

How Does Fusion Cash Work?

Now, let’s take a look at how to earn points on Fusion Cash in some more detail. The many activities you can earn from on the site include the following:

  • Watching videos
  • Testing products or software
  • Internet searches
  • Surveys
  • Forum posts
  • Paid to call opportunities

As mentioned, there are some cashback offers too. These mostly offer you a few cents or dollars in exchange for taking out free trial offers, looking for quotes, or downloading certain browser extensions.

There are also some offers that require using your credit card information to buy things, most of which aren’t worth the hassle just for the cashback — but you could find something relevant to you.

One of the main ways to earn is the “paid to click” page on the site, where you get paid a few cents for making a few clicks and staying on the sites for a certain amount of time.

Is Fusion Cash Legit?

Fusion Cash has been around for a while — it’s a legitimate site with a few users who swear by it.

On the Better Business Bureau (BBB), Fusion Cash have previously achieved A or A+ ratings. However, at the time of writing, the Fusion Cash profile is down to an F rating, and isn’t accredited by the BBB.

This doesn’t make Fusion Cash illegitimate, but it does suggest you should be wary. You can read the complaints about Fusion Cash on the BBB site, and most of them mention sudden account closure or the failure of Fusion Cash to pay out.

On the bright side, the customer reviews on BBB give Fusion Cash a four-star rating — so at least some of their users are happy.

On Trustpilot, Fusion Cash have a three-star rating — admittedly, there are only nine reviews in total, so this doesn’t tell us much. All reviews seem to be either extremely positive or very negative, so make of that what you will.

Is Fusion Cash a scam?

Since Fusion Cash does pay out to its users — at least, it does most of the time — it would be misleading to call it a scam.

However, the earning potential on this site is extremely low. Even amongst other survey or gpt sites, Fusion Cash comes off worse than most. The majority of activities will earn you only a few cents, making it hard to meet the payout threshold before your points expire.

How Much Money Can You Make With Fusion Cash?

That brings us to the next point — how much money can you earn on Fusion Cash? The simple answer is: very little.

Subscribing to the ‘daily cash email’ will net you a measly $0.02 per day, whilst going through the daily clicking exercises on the site that will earn you $0.15. Listening to the radio earns you $0.03, and watching videos will earn you between $0.01 and $0.02. This is far less than similar activities will get you on Swagbucks, for instance.

A slightly more profitable option is to post on the forums. If you make 30 posts in a month, you’ll get a $3 bonus. But, at $0.10 a post, this is nothing to write home about. All in all, you’d do well to earn $0.50 a day on Fusion Cash, even if you put in thirty minutes of work.

The only well-paying activity on the site is referring your friends. Fusion Cash will give you $1 for each friend that gets verified, $2 when they complete their first offer, and $5 every time they cash out. This means you can potentially earn $8 for each person you refer — this is much more generous than any similar site.

However, I’d struggle to recommend any friend to join Fusion Cash, so referring them seems somewhat dishonest.

How To Sign Up And Get Started With Fusion Cash?

Getting started on Fusion Cash will only take a few minutes. Simply register, start earning, and cash out your earnings.

Registration

Like most sites, there are a few eligibility requirements to sign up for Fusion Cash. Most importantly, you must be from the United States or Canada. Another quirk is that you can only create one account under an IP address, even if there are two people in your household.

The registration process involves filling in basic personal information like your zip code and email address, which you’ll need to verify.

This then leads to the next stage of the registration process, where you’ll be asked to fill in further profile information, including your preferred payout method. One benefit of Fusion Cash is the ability to choose between receiving a check in the post, a direct deposit (into your bank account or via debit card) or PayPal. No gift cards here!

Since the site is free, you won’t need to enter in your credit card details to sign up.

Finally, you’ll be prompted to fill in your first survey. As soon as you complete this and confirm your email address, you’ll get a handy $5 bonus for signing up. You’re now officially a member of Fusion Cash!

Earning

You can now look for further surveys to complete or other activities to participate in. Post in the forum, complete cashback offers, or watch videos.

Although, as discussed already, you’re unlikely to make much.

You can go to your Fusion Cash account at any point to check how much you’ve earned and how close you are to cashing out.

Payout

The cashout threshold on Fusion Cash is $25, which is steeper than most sites. Plus, there are even tougher restrictions — your points will become invalid if you don’t redeem them within 180 days, and at least $15 of the total $25 must be from completing activities rather than referring people.

Considering how little activities pay, meeting the threshold before your points expire isn’t easy. At least you’ll have the $5 joining bonus to boost you the first round.

The way you get paid depends on the preferred method you stated when you first signed up for the site: it could be through PayPal, check, or direct deposit.

What Are The Pros And Cons of Fusion Cash?

Pros

Fusion Cash review survey site

The main advantage of Fusion Cash is the generous referral bonuses. The fact that you can consistently earn money through the people you refer to the site is fantastic. However, it does raise larger questions about the viability of this model.

The only other benefit of Fusion Cash is that you can receive your earnings in cash rather than vouchers or gift cards.

Cons

The biggest disadvantage of Fusion Cash is obvious: it’s extremely low-paying. The only way you can earn a wage that doesn’t equate to slave labor is through referring other people, which I think is ridiculous.

As if this wasn’t enough, Fusion Cash also have very harsh policies. Allowing just one account per IP address seems unnecessarily strict, as does the rule that all points expire in 180 days if they aren’t used.

What Are The Alternatives To Fusion Cash?

There are certainly better survey sites than Fusion Cash out there.

Swagbucks is one of the names you’ll hear about most often. Other good options are InboxDollars, Survey Junkie, and Prize Rebel.

Bottom Line: Is Fusion Cash Worth It?

I normally try to stay optimistic when it comes to survey sites, since most legitimate websites have some beneficial features.

But when it comes to Fusion Cash, I struggle to find any good reason to use the site, unless you want to resort to tricking your friends into joining. I’d definitely avoid this one and spend my time elsewhere.
