why the sell on ecom?

It was frankly a profit taking trade after the big jump yesterday.
A stock like ECOM has potential to do what it did yesterday, jumping almost 20% in one day, but on the flip side some bad news could wipe out most of the gains quickly.

What is happening with vast?

Dear Len,
We had VSAT for about 3 months from Aug 2017 to Nov 2017. The stock gained about 18% in that stretch and we decided to take the gain because after a run the downside risk outweighed the upside.
Haven’t really followed VSAT very much since so I am afraid I can’t give you much on it. I do know that ViaSat recently lost a deal with Eutelsat. Eutelsat was supposed to invest in one of ViaSat’s upcoming satellites that will cover the Europe, Middle East, and Africa regions, but now it will go alone with its own satellite. This means ViaSat lost a partner and gained a competitor at the same time.
