This is my first experience with Investing Daily. How do I log into the Options for Income website?

I’ve lost my password and can’t log into the website. How can I retrieve it?

How can I update my postal address, email address and password?

How can I change the kind of emails I receive from Investing Daily?

I may be new to OFI, but I’m an experienced options trader and I don’t need the new-member Expanded View Alerts. How can I turn them off so that I receive the same communications that longtime OFI members receive?

This is my first experience with Investing Daily. How do I log into the Options for Income website?

If Options for Income is your first Investing Daily service, to log in the first time you’ll need to register with Investing Daily and create a password.

Within two days of subscribing you should receive an email from us with your new account number. If, for some reason, you don’t have that information, please call our Customer Service Department at (800) 832-2330 during regular business hours.

Once you have your account number and email address ready,

  1. Go to the Investing Daily “Access your account” page (see image below)
  2. Enter your Account Number
  3. Enter the Last Name that you used as you subscribed
  4. Enter the Email Address that you used as you purchased Options for Income
  5. Create a Password, and then enter it a second time to be sure
  6. Click the green “Register Account” button
  7. Proceed to the Options for Income website
  8. To log in, enter your email address and new password
  9. Click the yellow “Log In” button.

It is important that you use the email address here that you used when you subscribed to Options for Income.

I’ve lost my password and can’t log into the website. How can I retrieve it?

If you ever forget your password, you can retrieve it yourself using the “Forgot your password?” link next to the yellow “Log In” button on the website’s home page.

Simply enter your email address in the “Email address” box and click the “Forgot your password?” link. Within a minute or so, you’ll receive an email with your password in your inbox.

To maintain maximum security after using this process, we recommend that you proceed to change your password – see how to update your account information in the next question.

If you continue to have trouble logging in, please contact Customer Service at (800) 832-2330 during normal business hours for help and a “Quick-Access Link.” 

How can I update my postal address, email address and password? How can I change the kind of emails I receive from Investing Daily?

There are two ways to update your account:

1. Do-It-Yourself

If you need to update your postal address, email address, or password, please log into the Options for Income website and then click on “My Account” in the top-right of the website. Choose the “Contact Info” and “Password” tabs to enter your new information.

While logged into “My Account,” you can also choose “Notifications.” Checking and unchecking these boxes controls what kind of email we send you.

On the “Notifications” tab, please be sure that “Issue Notifications, Trade Alerts, and Flash Alerts” is always checked, since unchecking that box means that you won’t receive Jim’s critical Trade Alert emails.

2. With a Customer Service Representative

If you have any questions about your account or would like help in changing your account information, please contact our friendly Customer Service representatives.

I may be new to OFI, but I’m an experienced options trader and I don’t need the new-member Expanded View Alerts. How can I turn them off so that I receive the same communications that longtime OFI members receive?

In their first 30 days with OFI, new members receive extra training to help them ramp up quickly. We also suppress emailed and texted Trade Alerts regarding rolls, since new members weren’t around for the initial trades and roll Alerts tend to confuse them. On the 31st day, members automatically “graduate” and begin receiving the same communications that experienced members receive. 

If you’re in your first 30 days but don’t need the extra training and wish to receive roll Alerts immediately, please log into the Options for Income website and then click on “My Account” in the top-right of the website.

Choose the “Notifications” tab.

Uncheck the “Options for Income New Members” box. This will cause you to “graduate” immediately.

Be sure to leave the “Issue Notifications, Trade Alerts, and Flash Alerts” checked, since unchecking that box means that you won’t receive any Trade Alert emails or texts at all.

How can I receive new OFI Trade Alerts via text messages to my smart phone?

To sign up to receive Trade Alerts on your smart phone, send an email to idtextalerts@InvestingDaily.com.

Provide your name and smart phone number in the email and tell us you want to begin receiving OFI Trade Alerts via your phone.

Once we receive your email, your number will be added to the texting system. You will continue to receive Trade Alerts through email too.

If ever you want to stop the Trade Alert texting service, text back STOP and our texting vendor will block your number so that you don’t receive Trade Alert text messages. But don’t delete that text thread — when you want to begin getting the Trade Alert text messages again, text back START and our texting vendor will unblock your smart phone number so that you’ll resume receiving OFI Trade Alert texts.
