Trade Alert: Buy GLD call option

Buy to open the SPDR Gold Shares (NYSE: GLD) June 29, 2018 $129 call option. Pay no more than $2.10.

My gold indicator is now bullish enough to warrant buying a call on gold. I like the GLD June 29, 2018 $129 call.

For those following my Three-Pot trading system, this is a Pot-1 trade. But unlike previous Pot-1 trades, I am investing just one-third of Pot-1 into this trade and I am holding the rest in reserve for the time being.

My indicators have been very successful. My Pot-1, which consists of indicator-driven option trades, has a 60-fold cumulative gain since my Three-Pot track record began. However, there’s no guarantee that every trade will win. For this trade, I’d like to keep some dry powder on the side, which will give me flexibility to potentially invest in other opportunities.

For new subscribers, I expect to have a more detailed explanation of the trading system soon.

Hi Scott, thanks for posting the link. To all, the last couple of trades have been pretty good, which is no guarantee whatsoever that the gold trade will work out. While I expect and hope it will, I just want to make sure that everyone realizes that there will be some trades that are not successful, and that the key is to not get carried away and add more money to the amount you originally allocated to your aggressive trading. The idea, rather, is to watch your money grow through the compounding of gains. If you look at the record you will see a number of relatively small losses. When you compound gains and losses, you have to be careful not to let any loss get too large. Remember a loss of 50 percent requires a double to get even. So,even though for record keeping I have set aside 2/3rds of “pot 1,” I still want you to be able to compound the portion I am playing with. So don’t get angry or frustrated when I take a small loss (or gain). In the long run this will be the most rewarding strategy. Steve

Stephen,
Thank you for that comment.
I would rather pull out of a trade with a small loss and move on to next trade.
At times it can take numerous successful trades to make up for a complete loss.
I am waiting for your next move.
Thanks
Stan
