TRADE RATIONALE

Hilton released its Q2 results last week, which beat on earnings expectations but fell short on revenue. Its share price dropped below $78 on the news, then rallied above $80 before falling below $78 again this morning.

At this point, I think we have wrung about as much profit out of this options trade as there is to be had. The stock may fall a bit further, but I doubt it will break through support near $75 so I’m closing out this position for a 50%+ gain in less than two months.
