Sell to close the October 20 , 2017, call on Werner Enterprises Inc. (WERN) with a strike price of $35 at $1.10 or higher for a quick 37% gain. Symbol (WERN171020C35)

I still like the trucking group quite a bit but the near term expiration on these calls is forcing my hand.  As we get closer to the October 20 expiration, the time value on these will erode quickly.

I recommend taking the 12-day mid-thirties gain. I’ll be watching the truckers for more trades as I expect earnings to be robust.
