We are closing the long call position that we opened on Nov. 7 on WestJet Airlines Ltd. (TSX: WJA, OTC: WJAVF). Although our intention had been to hold the long call position through its expiration on April 21, 2017, the option price has moved up sharply over the past week, thereby providing an opportunity to lock in a substantial gain in a short period of time.

The current mid-price is C$1.80, for a profit of 38% over the price at the time of initial recommendation. Sell to close the April 21, 2017 call on WestJet with a strike price of C$21.00.
