I am new to the Energy Strategist and was wondering your thoughts about Atmos Energy.

Not a bad pick. The only mild concerns are that the yield is a bit lower than its competitors, and it has slightly more debt. On the other hand, the profit margins are higher than most of its peers, which may help explain why it has held up well during the energy bear market that started in 2014. It seems to be a well-managed company with little to no commodity exposure, and it has vastly outperformed the midstream sector during the downturn. I can’t see much to complain about with the company.
