Sell Vulcan Materials (NYSE: VMC)

I still believe that Vulcan will eventually convert its large orders into revenue and profits but am losing patience with the stock. The company has blamed shortfalls in recent quarters on weather but now longer-term estimates are coming down as well.

The company has spent $1 billion on acquisitions in the past year and spent $450 additional dollars on capital equipment. The 9% loss is not onerous but I think I can find better stocks with near-term catalysts.

I agree with you on this one, Darryle. This name should be acting better based on industry trends.
